Allison dreams of a alternate life, one where she marries someone other than Joe – who happens to be quite handsome – and where she successfully completes law school becoming a high profile attorney.

In her waking life at work, she is assisting DA Devalos who is trying to convict Sean Redburn who lured a pretty young woman to the US and proceeded to abuse and kill her. The DA hasn’t been able to find the victim’s body however and the defense has – in the form of the ‘victim’ herself, alive and well. As a result, Devalos feels he and Allison can no longer work together. As her dreams continue, Allison finds herself acting as Redburn’s attorney and Joe is a potential expert witness in the case.

Allison is investigating the death of doctor while her dreams are haunted by the Angel of Death, who seems to be suggesting that her time is up.

Alison’s dreams about a woman being visiting in the night by what seems like a phantom lover become inter-twined with a report by a woman who hears noises in her apartment at night, and is frightened when she awakes to find a man kissing her.

Meanwhile Alison accompanies her boss to a parole hearing during which she gets the impression one of the convicts was falsely convicted — plus he has a link to the apartment in which the woman being stalked at night lives.

Three girls are found murdered. Allison’s visions connect Det. Scanlon with the case.

Allison investigates apparently random killings, endangering her family in the process. Bridgette has to do a class presentation about her mom’s job.

After Allison dreams that her brother Michael was involved in a bank robbery, he shows up unexpectedly and she fears the worst.

Allison dreams of David Carradine just before she’s asked to help locate a missing man.

Allison’s dreams seem to be about a personal tragedy, but soon she realizes it has something to do with a murder at a coffee shop.

Allison hits her head and goes to the doctor to get an MRI. During the MRI examination of another patient, she sees a vision of him murdering several prostitutes.

When she begins to investigate about one of the supposed victims, she finds herself in an awkward situation. In the meantime, Allison’s MRI results let Joe create a theory of Allison’s visionary power and he tries to persuade their daughters to get MRI to (dis)prove the theory.

Allison dreams of a teenager who enter his high school and starts shooting his teachers and classmates. Soon after, she and Detective Scanlon are investigating the kidnapping of 6 year-old Tyler Downey . There’s been no ransom note and there is no evidence of violence in the Downey home.

Allison starts to dream about Tyler and they manage to find him, shot but still alive, in a garbage dump. As the dreams continue, she learns the identity of the kidnapper/killer but also something else that is quite frightening: 6 year old Tyler will grow up to be the teenager on the shooting spree as a teenager. When she dreams of Tyler graduating as his class valedictorian, she finally realizes what is happening and what the dreams really mean.

Allison is again dreaming about Dr. Charles Walker with whom she’d had a previous encounter. Unfortunately, she’s also under arrest. It all started several days before when she and Joe refused Ariel permission to go to the movies with a 14 year-old boy. It turns out Walker has been speaking to Ariel in the school library and encouraging her to ignore her parents rules and just not tell them what she’s doing.

When Allison drops the girls at school, she sees Walker talking to Dr Gramado, the father of the boy who wanted to take Ariel to the movies. Ariel decides to go to a party at the boy’s house without telling anyone but Allison finds out what is going on and rushes to the Gramado house where she misinterprets what she sees and assaults the doctor.

Allison dreams about a serial killers who is abducting young women and then cutting them up. In her dreams however, she doesn’t actually see who the killer is since she is playing that role. She does remember that the killer had a dog named Buster and that leads Detective Scanlon to rescue the most recent abductee.

The killer gets away however. As time goes on, Allison starts to take some of the killer’s persona as if she was possessed. Joe is concerned about her behavior in spite of her assurances that the killer hasn’t taken her over. With yet another dream, Allison finally realizes what the killer is trying to tell her: that one the women included in his murder spree was actually killed by someone else.

Allison dreams about hitting a girl with her car and a woman whose house is haunted. She finds out that the woman killed herself. Now Allison is trying to put all the pieces together.

Alisson thinks there is another dimension in art. While at a art exhibit she see 3-Dimenional images pop out. And these all help lead to figure out a deadly secret.

Allison’s vision of a murder could potentially derail Devalos’ reelection campaign, and Joe runs into an old girlfriend.

Despite thinking he will not be picked, Joe has to go on jury duty on a case against Stephen Garner who is accused of murdering his rich wife. Allison starts having visions about the man but D.A. Devalos orders her not to work on the case because of a conflict of interests.

Allison’s vision of a murder could potentially derail Devalos’ reelection campaign, and when Devalos keeps getting upstaged in court, it’s up to Allison to find out the truth.

Allison dreams of her good friend from high school, but cannot relate the dream to her current case.
